1. Overview
HealthWrangler (“the app”) is a personal health organizer published by Jacked Arts L.L.C. (“we,” “us”). You can use it to keep appointments, notes, providers, medications, vaccines, and related details for yourself and the people you care for. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with information.
2. Information we do not collect
We do not collect, receive, or have access to any of the following:
- Your name, email address, or any identity or contact details
- Appointments, notes, medications, vaccines, providers, profiles, photos, or any other record you enter
- Health information of any kind
- Your location
- Usage analytics, crash reports, or diagnostics
- Advertising identifiers, cookies, or tracking pixels
3. Where your information is stored
Everything you enter is stored locally on your phone or tablet, in the app's private storage. This includes records you add about other people, such as family members. Profile photos and files you attach to notes are stored on your device as well. We do not operate servers that receive or hold your data.
Your device's own protections (passcode, Face ID or Touch ID, encryption) help protect this data. If you use device backups (such as iCloud Backup on iOS or Google backup on Android), the platform provider may include the app's data in them, under its own terms.
4. Internet access
The app works offline and makes no network requests of its own during normal use. It contacts the internet only when you do something that requires it, as described in sections 5 to 7.
5. Optional iCloud sync
iCloud sync is optional and is off unless you turn it on in Settings. When it is on:
- The app saves a single sync file to its folder in your iCloud Drive. The file contains your records (profiles, appointments, notes, providers, medications, vaccines, tags, and portal links) and profile photos. Files attached to notes are not included.
- The file is stored and transmitted by Apple under your Apple Account and Apple's privacy policy and security practices. We cannot see, read, or access it.
- The file is visible to you in the Files app under iCloud Drive → HealthWrangler. Anyone who has access to your iCloud Drive can open it, so protect your Apple Account accordingly.
- Turning sync off, using Clear All Data, or deleting the app does not delete a sync file already in iCloud Drive. You can delete it yourself in the Files app.
6. Things you choose to share or export
You can share or export information using your device's share sheet, for example a PDF of an appointment, note, or provider, a medication list or vaccination record, CSV exports, a full backup file, or a Care Bundle for another caregiver. These actions happen only when you tap them. The file goes to the app, person, or service you select, and we do not receive a copy. Once you share something, the recipient's handling of it is outside our control, so please share thoughtfully. Files you create may also remain in your device's temporary storage, or in the place you saved them, until you delete them.
7. Device features and other services the app can use
The app asks for permission before using the following, and each permission is optional.
| Feature | What it's used for |
|---|---|
| Notifications | Appointment reminders. These are local notifications scheduled on your device. We do not use a push-notification server. |
| Calendar | When you tap “Add to Calendar” and choose your device calendar (Apple Calendar on iPhone and iPad), the app creates (or updates) an event on your device. It does not read your other events for any other purpose. |
| Photos and Camera | Choosing or taking a profile photo. Photos you select stay on your device. |
| Files | Attaching documents to notes and restoring a backup file. Only the files you pick are read. |
Google Calendar and Outlook. If you choose one of these, the app opens that service's web page in your browser with the appointment's title, time, location, provider name, and description filled in. That information is then handled by Google or Microsoft under their own privacy policies.
Phone, email, and web links. Tapping a provider's phone number, email address, or website, or a saved health-portal link, opens the Phone app, your mail app, or a web page. Third-party sites you visit are governed by their own policies.
D³ Daily Diet Diary. If you use our D³ app, you can export a wellness summary file from D³ and import it into HealthWrangler, where it is saved as a note. You choose how the file travels between the apps (for example, the share sheet or the Files app). We do not receive it.
8. No accounts, third-party SDKs, or purchases
HealthWrangler requires no sign-in or registration, so we have no way to identify you. The app includes no analytics, advertising, social-media, or data-broker software, and it offers no in-app purchases or payment processing.
9. Health information
Because we never receive your information, Jacked Arts L.L.C. does not act as a custodian of your health data. You decide what to enter, what to keep, and what to share. HealthWrangler is a personal organizer and is not provided by a healthcare provider or health plan.
10. Children's privacy
The app is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Parents and caregivers may enter records about a child they care for; those records stay on the caregiver's device, as described above.
11. Your choices and data deletion
- Delete individual records from within the app. Deleted items disappear from view.
- Erase everything with Settings → Clear All Data, which removes your records, profile photos, and scheduled reminders and turns off sync.
- Delete the app to remove the data stored in it.
- Backups, exports, shared files, and any iCloud sync file are separate copies. Delete them yourself in the Files app, iCloud Drive, or wherever you saved them.
- You can revoke notification, calendar, photo, and camera permissions at any time in your device settings.
Because we hold no data about you, we have nothing to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. Everything is under your control on your device.
12. Platform privacy
Apple and Google may collect device and platform information under their own policies, which we do not control. See Apple's Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If we make a material change, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
