D³ reads your logs directly from local storage each time you open a screen. On the History/Trends view with a long date range (6M, 1Y, or ALL), loading can take a few seconds as it processes every week of data. This is normal. If performance feels unusually slow, try switching to the 3M range to see if that's faster. If the app is consistently sluggish, try force-closing and reopening it.
App updates preserve your logged data (entries, tags, exercise logs, etc.) since they're stored using your device's local storage. However, some settings stored in a different way may occasionally reset during a major version update. If you notice something missing, check Settings — most preferences can be re-applied in under a minute.
The Correlations card only appears when there's a statistically meaningful pattern to show. It requires at least 30 days of logged entries. For food correlations, you'll need a food attribute marked as "watching" in Settings → Foods with at least 3 logged exposure days. For medication correlations, you need a medication change event in Settings → Medications plus at least 37 days since the change (default lag of 30 + 7 day buffer), with both before and after data. If conditions aren't met, the card stays hidden — that's intentional.
Weight is logged per week-start date (Monday). If you entered your weight but haven't yet reached the start of the next week, the chart may show one fewer data point than expected. Try navigating to the Today tab, scrolling to the weight section, and confirming the value was saved. Pull down on the trends screen to refresh if needed.
Navigate to the History tab, tap List view, and find the day you want to modify. Tap the row to go to that day's Today view, where you can edit or clear individual fields. There is currently no "delete entire day" button — clearing all fields (QUAL to 0, S&S to 0, blank meal notes) effectively removes the day from your trends.
Reports are generated as PDF files (or HTML for weekly reports) with a fixed layout designed for print. The Weekly Report uses landscape orientation with seven columns — one per day. The Monthly Report is portrait with a calendar grid and weekly summary table. The Trends Report is landscape with tables by category. These are designed to be printed or shared as documents, not to mirror the in-app charts pixel-for-pixel.
